We're thrilled to announce that the 2025 Summer Field Day will be held on July 9th at the beautiful Smiths Falls Golf & Country Club, hosted by Superintendent Ken Campbell. This year's event promises a day filled with great golf, camaraderie, and an exceptional course that offers both a challenge and a scenic escape. As on of the region's most respected tracks, Smiths Falls has long been a favourite among players for its thoughtful layout and natural beauty - a perfect setting to bring together industry professionals for a memorable summer gathering.
Nestled amidst mature woodlands and natural marshlands, Smiths Falls Golf & Country Club offers a truly immersive golf experience. The course winds through majestic 100-year-old oak trees, with elevation changes and Otter Creek weaving throughout, making for a picturesque yet demanding round. Precision is key here, as well-bunkered greens and forest-lined fairways put every club in your bag to the test. With a reputation for outstanding course conditions and a welcoming atmosphere, it's no surprise that golfers from across the Ottawa Valley and Eastern Ontario make the trip year after year. The Rules & Prizes
The four-man scramble features teams of four players competing against one another. In this format, each team's players hit from the tee box, then the team members choose the best of the four shots for the next shot. All team members then play the second shot from that location, and again choose the best shot. Play continues in this manner until the hole is completed. The team then records its score and maintains that format for all 18 holes.
For this tournament, everyone will tee off of the white tees and we require a minimum of two tee shots to count for each player during a round.
Give it your best shot! Prizes are to be won for closest to the pin (hole 3, hole 16), longest drive (hole 5), longest putt (hole 15) and the team with the lowest score.
