JOB SUMMARY

Reporting directly to the Golf Course Superintendent, the Spray Technician is responsible for fertilizer and plant protection product applications required to maintain optimal golf course conditions.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Apply fertilizers, herbicides and fungicides.
• Calibrate, operate and maintain spray equipment.
• Maintain application records.
• Scout for diseases, insects and weeds.
• Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures.

EDUCATION

High school diploma or equivalent.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education in horticulture, agronomy or turf management is an asset. Pesticide applicator certification or willingness to obtain it. Valid driver's licence required.
