ASSISTANT GOLF COURSE SUPERINTENDENT

Casselview Golf & C.C is a public, 18-hole golf facility located in Casselman, Ontario, 25 minutes from Ottawa. The Par 72 course is renowned for its superb conditioning and unsurpassed service.

We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team and assist in managing all aspects of turf maintenance including the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with the superintendent to provide exceptional playing conditions for our members and guests
• Assist in the planning and scheduling of daily activities (greens, tees, fairways, roughs, bunkers etc.)
• Train and supervise staff
• Ensure healthy turf with sound cultural practices
• Work alongside the irrigation tech. with water management
• Assist the Superintendent with health and safety measures for all maintenance staff

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong work ethic and communication skills
• Knowledge of the game of golf
• Available 7 days a week as needed
• Minimum 3 years working in golf turf maintenance or similar field of work
• Degree or diploma in turf grass management is considered an asset
• Bilingualism is considered an asset
