Full time seasonal position (7 to 9 months)
The Smiths Falls Golf & Country Club is a full service 18-hole semiprivate golf club located less than one hour between Ottawa, Kingston, and Brockville.
We have a new maintenance facility with a good equipment fleet and an experienced staff.
DUTIES:
- Will assist the Assistant superintendent with all responsibilities in all areas of the golf course management.
- Overseeing staff, with training.
- Irrigation & Irrigation repair.
- Health & Safety of the workers with you in this department.
- Applying a fertilizer program.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Drivers licence.
- Valid Exterminator’s licence (not needed, training available).
- Golf Course experience, (helpful but not required).
- Ability to follow and implement work in a safe manner.
- Ability to manage his time and the time of other staff members.
- Ability to work different hours and in different conditions.
- Knowledge of golf course equipment, operation, and safety will train.
- Clean and professional appearance with leadership potential
