ASSISTANT  SUPERINTENDENT

The Canadian Golf & country club is located just ten minutes west of Kanata Ontario Canada. The Canadian is a semi-private 27-hole golf club offering two great courses and our newly constructed driving range and short game facility. Our 18-hole West Course is well respected across the region for its great layout and outstanding conditions.  Our Par 35, 9-hole East Course is one of the few full length 9-hole courses in the area.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Knowledge of golf course operations
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license-Pesticide Certificate is an asset
• Chainsaw and CPR/first aid certificate an asset
• Understanding of the game and rules of golf

DUTIES:

• Scheduling, supervising and training of staff
• Fertility and Disease management
• IPM documentation and reporting
• Irrigation repair and maintenance
• Golf course cultural practices
• Health & Safety 

The position is fulltime seasonal (8-9 months) with a year round benefits package.
Starting date is March 2024.
