About the Course

THE MISSISSIPPI GOLF CLUB

The Mississippi Golf Club is an 18-hole, semi-private golf course located on 190 acres overlooking the picturesque Mississippi River. Established in 1915 on the former Patterson Farm in Appleton, just five kilometres east of Carleton Place, Mississippi Golf Club is one of the oldest clubs in Ontario.

Mississippi began as a nine-hole course, with a second nine - designed by the renowned golf course architect Graham Cooke - added in 1987. The scenic Mississippi River that flows through and around the Mississippi Golf Club serves as a backdrop to the century old trees and manicured gardens, making it one of the most picturesque and enjoyable golf courses in the Ottawa area. This historic, natural layout offers numerous risk/reward opportunities, allowing the course to be as challenging, or as benign, as the player desires.

The course is known throughout the region for its natural beauty and outstanding conditioning. Join us at our Annual Summer Field Day to find out why the Mississippi Golf Club has been called a "Hidden Gem" in the Ottawa Valley!
